Our styling and hair‑care products are formulated for 2A‑4C curly and coily hair, ideal for tight coils, spring curls and loose wavy‑curl textures.

Should I apply curling cream on wet or dry hair?

For best curl definition, apply curling cream onto damp, freshly washed hair. Distribute evenly then scrunch. Do not use on completely dry hair.

What is the LOC method and can I use your products for it?

LOC stands for Liquid‑Oil‑Cream. You can use our leave‑in, hair oil and curling cream to follow the LOC routine to lock‑in long‑lasting moisture for dry curls.

Why my curls turn crunchy after using styling cream?

Crunchy effect usually comes from over‑application. Try using a smaller amount. Scrunch gently once hair is fully dry to soften the hard cast and get bouncy touchable curls.

Can I sleep with styling product in my curls?

Yes. We recommend using a satin bonnet or satin pillowcase overnight. It preserves curl shape, reduces friction, frizz and keeps your style longer.

How often should I wash curly / coily hair?

Curly hair tends to dry easily. Most 3A‑4C textures wash every 3‑7 days. Avoid over‑washing which strips natural protective oils from your hair.

Do your styling products cause product build‑up?

Heavy layering will create build‑up. Clarify your hair every 1‑2 weeks if you use lots of styling creams, gels and butters to remove residue.

Are your styling items sulfate‑free / paraben‑free?

Most formulas are sulfate‑free and paraben‑free. Always read the ingredient label printed on product bottle for full reference.

My hair feels dry after styling, what should I do?

Add a small amount of hair oil before applying curl cream. Deep conditioning treatment once per week also greatly improves moisture level for dry textured hair.

Can I mix different Ylady styling products together?

Yes, many customers mix hair butter, curl cream and hair oil for customized routine. Start with small quantity to avoid heavy build‑up.
