LOC Method Guide

LOC method is a famous moisturizing technique for curly & coily hair. LOC stands for Liquid‑Oil‑Cream. It helps lock long‑lasting hydration for high‑porosity and dry curls.

Step 1 — Liquid

Apply water or water‑based leave‑in spray on damp hair. Hair should be wet, not dripping. Liquid opens hair cuticle to receive moisture.

Step 2 — Oil

Seal moisture with natural hair oil such as jojoba oil, argan oil or batana oil. Oil locks water inside hair shaft.

Step 3 — Cream

Apply curl cream. Smooth over each curl to define shape and reduce frizz.

Tips

LCO is the reverse version: Liquid‑Cream‑Oil, works better for low‑porosity hair.
Always apply LOC / LCO on damp hair, not completely dry hair.
Do not overload products, heavy build‑up will weigh down curls.
